State Department of Labor and Industrial Relations Summer Youth Program Participants Learn Financial Literacy with MEO Business Development Center Workshop

Are you a teenager looking to learn more about financial management? Look no further than the Maui Economic Opportunity Business Development Center’s Teen Financial Literacy workshop! This workshop is designed to help young adults aged 16 to 18 learn the basics of budgeting, savings, banking, job applications, and the importance of credit.

The recent workshop held on June 24 saw 29 participants from the state Department of Labor and Industrial Relations Summer Youth Program on Maui and Molokai. Led by BDC specialists, the workshop was a great success, with participants engaging in mock job interviews and gaining valuable knowledge about financial management.
